Aloe cocked her head at Yuki and arched an eyebrow as she downed her shot. This one went down smoother, now that she knew what to prepare for, but her face still flushed red. she idly wondered what Yuki's tolerance was.
Hope looked around at everyone at the kitchen table, smiling, laughing, spluttering. She thought about how far they had come - how far she had come - and raised her shot glass. "To everything that has come before." Her eyes found her sister's, and she nodded slightly. "And to everything yet to be."
She downed her shot and paused for a moment before she set her glass down. She didn't seem to be affected by the drink - but that was only because the quickfire illusion hid the sight and sound of her hacking and spluttering.

...Kami, why were some of them taking a second one? She was too distracted to even realize what she'd given away to Aloe.
...Everyone was having fun, though, and honestly, that was what mattered. She was considering if she wanted to be daring and take another shot, or just go grab something sweet to get that taste out of her mouth instead. With a frown, she started scratching behind one of her ears, only to blink and shift her gaze to Hope, torn between disbelief and amusement as she gave her a knowing look. Had she really just? ....That was just unfair.
It was honestly all just kind of silly, and so, with a laugh and a shake of her head, she motioned for another shot. The fox spared a glance to Hrist, raising her glass again. <<I blame you entirely for this.>>

Hrist squinted at the shots, but with the fact that she was pouring her third, she was clearly used to drinking them, if not exactly their eventual effects-- likely to the chagrin of all the adults affiliated with the Black Diamond. She scoffed in response to Yuki.

"Welp," she said while sitting on the ground, "guess we gonna find out what kinda drunk everybody is, tonight."
"Yaaaay..." Metzli made a mental note that no matter what, she would not call her parents. Damien, maybe. Xu, probably.

"I'll be sssure to take notesss." Grenadine responded to Hrist, chuckling.
Though she'd only planned on stopping in, the air of the event was... More comfortable than she'd been expecting. Perhaps it was the distraction, or the liquid encouragement, but for the first time in a minute Grenadine didn't feel like tucking into her hood and skulking away.
Perhaps she might even have another drink, if the night carried on like this.

Mei looked around at all her friends and felt like she was finally relaxing after a very long time, and smiled. It wasn’t all better, but maybe she could just forget the other stuff for a little while, and that was okay. “Okay, after that, um, experience, we should try something a lot smoother. But rinse your glasses out first!” Without any hesitation, she grabbed her parents’s favourite sake bottle and popped the cork. Ready to pour when her friends were ready to try.
Eden would definitely prefer something less harsh to sip on for a bit. Like Mei, she felt they all finally had a chance to relax. And with this group together, the future looked bright.
