"Uuuh.. Hmn." Alice rubbed her chin and gave it some thought. "I am sure someone would like to date you. College is at least in the same age rage as us, you could always hang out with me on campus. But really, the good guys to be with are going to be the type that don't approach you right away. Guys who are kinda forward and cocky just want to get laid."
She chuckled some, and shrugged. "I know of like, a few single guys that were nice. If they're still single, maybe I can try hooking you up."
"Buuuut... Raiders has a lot of single guys, too. Would you rather date another meta, or date someone without powers?"

"Hang out with you on campus?" Saku looked away, eyes searching her imagination. Yeah, she could dress up like a schoolgirl and hang around Alice and suddenly remember college attendees don't wear uniforms like that but fuck you this is my fantasy I can wear a uniform if I want, it can be a cheerleading uniform because those still exist, right? So there, sod off about it fine, if you still want Aidyn and Vouse and Hope to think you're creepy and want nothing to do with you okay okay fuck a college volleyball uniform is fine--
Saku smacked her teeth and threw back the rest of her drink, before putting a hand up to indicate to the tender she wanted more. Her drink wasn't exactly bottom shelf, but she didn't mind paying-- she liked what she liked.
"I don't know, it doesn't matter, does it? I've hung with both metas and non, that doesn't even register for me when it comes to picking who I want to hang with." She frowned a bit. "Don't know exactly what I'm looking for, if I should be looking for anything specific. I keep thinking about the idea of dating Raiders and as much as I keep going 'eww, cops,' I wouldn't have minded dating Vouse. So I guess I could just go back to doing what I usually do, and see if there's someone worth dealing with for longer than a week. Maybe I'll get surprised, huh?"

"See, when you want to date someone ten years younger than us, then that makes you look creepy," Aidyn pointed out. "But figuring out what you want, that's going to be important. Not that it's always clear at first... sometimes something just clicks."
Aidyn shrugged, far from the authority on something he openly admitted to not understanding. "Maybe we'll take a walk around this party, see who looks your way. Or whoever is trying really hard not to."

Alice made a bit of a face when Dyn mentioned Vouse being ten years younger. Thaaaat was awkward.
"I can see if there's any parties going on on campus, whenever that starts up again. I'm sure there's going to be some time before stuff just... gets back to normal."

Beat.
"...Anymore," Saku mumbled while taking a long sip of her newly refreshed glass. Once she put it down, she began and idly swirling it so the smallest of whorls formed. Her eyes watched as liquor, base, and newly melted water visibly mixed at her whim. "Sorry for bringing him up. The point is that yeah, I could bang any of the guys here if I wanted to but seeing you two is frankly annoying. I never wanted to do the whole song and dance, never wanted a dance partner to stick around, but now I'm going 'huh, what if I did that normal stuff' and it's fuckin' weird, mate."
She spun inconspicuously on her seat, back leaning on the bar with her legs crossing. "Here, or Alice's campus parties. Not trying to jump into anything like, super godsdamned serious right off the bat, but maybe there's someone worth getting to know in here." Despite the hopefulness of her words, her tone bespoke a lack thereof. "See what fish they got in this new kind of sea, I guess."

Aidyn hooked an arm around Saku's neck, pulling her over in a rough, one-armed hug. "There we go. Let's get drunk and go fishing." He raised his hand and signaled the bartender for another drink - "A party drink, not a thinking drink.
"And a round for the rest of the Raiders," he said louder, earning a cheer from the bar. "These motherfuckers deserve the night off. There a jukebox or something around here? Crank the music up - I know it's a fancy joint, but it's a party, yeah? Let's get some dancing going."
He released his sister and grinned, sitting back down. "There, got 'em stirred up. Let's get the waves a little choppy, see what comes to the surface."

Saku's brows lifted when Aidyn ordered a round for the house, but dropped again when he explained why he did so. "You had me for a second there, I almost thought you were doing something for the Raiders without an ulterior motive. There went any worry that you were turning altruistic on me.
"So, Alice," Saku crooned, "tell me about some of the other guys that had to suck even more than this jerk."

Alice cringed some, and shook her head. "I'd rather not think about my mistakes. We have good vibes. Maybe I'll tell you another time. Sorry."
Alice smiled, but it wasn't quite in her eyes. "You're very attractive though, someone's bound to flirt with the bad girl hero."

Saku winced. "Damn, that bad, huh? They must have really sucked if booze doesn't make you want to rant about them. Don't worry about it girl, I'll be sure to harass you about it when Dyn isn't around to commentate."
She then gave her brother a quick, stiff nod. The old Saku might have tried to force the information out of Alice by offering more drinks or just being pointedly annoying, but she at least had the awareness to pick and choose when she wanted to do that-- and save such behavior for people who weren't her brother's girlfriend.
"Well, I know I'm cute as fuck. I think I'm just overthinking and worrying too much about this. Which is weird, because it's me, but here we are." She scanned the room for people who might have been worth her time and saw a handful of people that grabbed her eyes, so started pointedly staring at people at length; from casual scans to hunting.

Aidyn had been mid-drink when Saku asked her question of Alice, but the porcupine had dodged it without any of his help, so he simply inclined his head to his sister in acknowledgement.
"That's just because you're not drunk enough. A few more drinks and you'll wonder what all the fuss was about." He reached out with his free hand, putting his arm around Alice's shoulders. He didn't want her to linger too much on those... mistakes.

"Right?" Saku chuckled. "You can't dwell too hard on your mistakes. Live, learn, and just like... move on, I guess? How long's it been since you dealt with them, had to have been a year. And I hadn't heard about you until Aidyn started dating you, so it's not like you were in any drug rings I was aware of."
She scratched her head, realizing was about to say something that could have seemed less caring than she meant it to be. "What I mean is, I guess, this island is willing to come around to Dyn and I, and Damien and Dyn were actually trying to kill each other... and now they just nod at each other. Don't sweat the past if the past ain't sweating you."
Saku paused again. "Fuck, no, that's not right. Look, I'm not good at this motivational stuff, alright? Just don't worry about it. I'll get you drunk and we can go to your exes houses and kick their asses some other time," she said while gulping down her drink-- and coughing, because it was moonshine.
